If you’re a healthcare business based in the US and covered by HIPAA — GA4 is not your best option. Google will not sign a BAA for Google Analytics. There is also no way to turn off sending IP addresses to Google.
It’s still possible to use GA4, with restrictions, but for most companies there are better options.
